The Argentinean’s blend of electronic nostalgia may be hard to nail down; it constantly expands and distends following Vaporwave's ironic flare. Strikes swing from moody fog, tunes travel aimlessly, and operistic rawness leads up to adulterated and charming visions. On "Interactive Affairs", his forthcoming debut album, Fan Fiordo merged these elements into a cyberchic -and surprisingly intense- nineties fantasy.

From a loungy, sexy intro, the novice "Carmina" ventures into a silvery and dusty storm. Fiordo's aged synthesizers evoke younger memories of digital era, his unsampled compositions fuel a popish undertone, and a futuristic aura swirls autonomously, showing off an ambivalent spirit in accordance to the ever-changing Internet rhetoric.

"Interactive Affairs" strings together satirical glamour, obscure cyborg myths, and romantic alleyways. Fan Fiordo's synths are an invite to nocturnal meditations as he conjures virtual scenarios designed by oversexualized and geeky suggestions. When guitars sound in the culminating "Emepcito", the Buenos Aires native unfolds gloriously.
